The Great Escape + Hot Tub + Game Room + Near All!

We had no hot water the whole time.

The property was a wonderful space with plenty of room to house 10 adults and a dog. With plenty of space available, a large and well stocked kitchen, and a fantastic location close to everything you could want to do in Big Bear, I can't recommend this place enough.

9 of us met for a last minute family trip. We had an amazing time. Our only complaint was that our trip was too short. We had a lot of fun playing air hocky, shuffleboard/bowling and sitting around the firepit. There's enough room and seating throughout the house to sit together or break up into smaller groups. The beds are comfy and the house is adorable. It's also pretty convenient to everything. The last thing I'll share is that the property management team is awesome - super responsive, helpful and friendly. Just a tip: If you arrive when it's dark like we did, have a flashlight handy as the street is really dark, the address is hard to see and the pavers are a little uneven. If we ever go back to big bear I will definitely try to book here again.

I was disappointed in the home. It did not meet my expectations, in comparison to other homes I have rented through VRBO. The size of the home accommodated our family, but the quality of the accommodations were not up to my expectations. The carpet on the stairs was very dirty with large stains.There were drawers and cabinets that were broken. Kitchen utensils were cheap and just thrown into drawers. The pots and pans were greasy and there was not a pot large enough to cook pasta, I had to improvise by using 3 small saucepans! The house would be fine for people who don’t really care about quality, but for the price of over 1k per night I thought it would be much better.
